Sonja is the Fairy of Dreams and hails from Espero. She is Zack and Cristalia's oldest daughter and Alina's older sister. She is currently married to a wizard named Fergis, and were once a student in Alfea College for Fairies. She acts currently as a Guardian Fairy alongside Alina in Espero. Her infobox picture depicts her in her Winx form.

Personality[]

Sonja is imaginative, daydreamer and romantic. Her main goal is to make dreams a reality for those good and selfless who lives in Planet Earth (Humans). Their disbelief weakens her powers, her magic becomes useless and she's unable to transform. That's her greatest weakness. Although she keeps her true identity a secret from, Sonja is truly a Humanitarian who seek the wellness of humans, their dreams, goals and did channel her magic to materialize their deepest wishes, rewarding the good and pure-hearted for being kind, respecting nature and those who treats children well. She and her husband strongly dislikes ordinary people who are harmful to animals, be it regular or not. Sonja ends up transfiguring these dangerous non-magic beings into stone statues, and Fergis brings them up to decorate his and Sonja's house's backyard in Espero, the most tranquil planet of the Magic Dimension and the latter's home realm.

Unlike her, Alina usually despise human beings as she says their majority don't have any musical taste.

Magical Abilities[]

Her Special Believix Spell allows Sonja to give ordinary people a glance of what they desire the most, and enlight their minds to pursue their aspirations. If someone strongs believes in her capacities, she is able to resurrect a dear one back from the dead as her magic will be empowered by the wisher's powerful faith that anything is possible. No matter how long the deceased person has died, it will be once able to see and talk with their loved ones as well being brought to life. This power of Sonja, however, has a limitation, the resurrected individual cannot be brought back twice and if they somehow die again, they are obligated to remain dead. She gained this power once she got her Believix.

Sonja may know some basic, first-level spells that all fairies can use, such as telekinesis, transmuting objects, and fixing minor messes.

In Believix form, Sonja's hair does grow till her knees, is slightly curled and has pink highlights. Her bangs are entirely pink and she does wear a red tiara with orange diamond-like pieces on it. Her highlights returns in her Mermaid Form, in that same color.
Sonja does wear lavender socks in Winx form, which is relatively uncommon for other Winx-level fairies.
"Somnium" was the Latin word for dream and is similar to the pronunciation of her name.
Her favorite Fairy Form is highly advanced Onyrix, although she didn't achieved it.
Her dream-based powers are much stronger when in Lovix form.
